A place to write
I've been thinking about it for a while now and I think I finally have enough interest in sharing out more writing. I've gotten used to journaling frequently ( not frequently enough tho ), and writing the shows that I do. It's really helped me through some tough thinking problems and explaining things in a way I like. So I want to do more of that. I'll be doing that in two places then:
Personal Blog
That will be here on substack
mainly because it's free, simple, and quick. Here I'll put longer random thoughts on things I'm doing around many things,
some ideas are around:
cooking, coffee, games, apps, book reviews, fitness, flow, philosophy,
and other topics that cross my mind. I'd like them to be at least longer than 5 tweets worth, whatever that works out to. I'll still put random individual thoughts there. These will hopefully be a more refined version of some of my journal posts.
Professional Blog
That will be over on my site (http://seektaiju.com/blog.html). The topics that I want to cover there will be agile/lean things that don't get a podcast, exploring a few ideas from past podcasts, and getting other thoughts out around work and organizations. I'll endeavor to make this more positive than negative sounding and topics.
For both, I'm not sure on the frequency, maybe weekly for personal and every other for taiju. Who knows, I'll figure it out as I go. I'm not sure of my writing style either, other than I've become very comfortable writing as I talk, more conversational, less formal. So I'll make many mistakes ( grammar/spelling ), your grace and feedback is appreciated. I'm likely to get nerdy or way too deep on specifics and nuances of an idea so be prepared for that. If you'd like to support what I do, a first step is now available - https://www.buymeacoffee.com/corybryan.
My end goal is to release more writing, and I will try this out for a while and see how what happens. I've already edited that goal a couple of times to be more clear. That process looked like this:
